Catching up

Well my sister has scolded me enough about not writting anything new lately so before I head to bed I will try to catch everyone up. We have since been to Denver, San Antonio and now we are in Houston. I DO NOT like the city of Houston, it's one big strip mall. Honestly that is all you see. San ANtonio was a very pretty city. I could take a trip back to San An. Our hotel... the Westin Riverwalk was, how shall i say, DIVINE!! The king size "heavenly" bed they have in their rooms was exactly that. It is hard enough for me to get out of bed anyway so add the most comfortable bed ever created.... well let's just say that it is surprising that I am not still in the bed in San Antonio. Our hotel was right next to The Alamo. I didn't have enough time to actually go look at but I did drive by it. The drive to San Antonio from Denver though was ridiculously long. For about 5 hours a group of us had an acousitcal sing-along in the back lounge of the bus. One of the guys plays guitar and can actually sing, the rest of us were just yelling the words. It was hysterical though. We were all delirous and pretty buzzed. (it just so happens that our bus is "the fun party bus" that everyone wants to be on. We at one point decided that we were going to get every movie that Patrick Swayze has made... Road House being our "theme" movie. If you ever watch Road House while drinking with friends and just want to get stupid drunk...(don't we all, just kidding mom) play this game. We thought it would be funny to play a casual drinking game while watching the movie so we decided that every time anyone says Dalton you have to drink. I don't think we realized how many times his name is said when we chose that game. It was like playing the worst game of 3 man. Let's just say that we had to turn the movie off.
Other than keeping ourselves occupied on the bus everything is going pretty good. It is a great job. I am thankful to have this opportunity.
Everyone probably thinks that I don't even work on this tour. Trust me I do. That is one good thing about this job, it is a lot of work but you do it mostly on your own time. The day of the event is pretty hectic and making sure that all is taken care of for the next event is the biggest thing with deadlines.
well, I have to get up at 5:00 so I am off to bed. I will try to keep things updated.

Yea!!! Scolding pays off sometimes. :) I've been to Houston once and I remembered it being sort of like an arm pit. a hot sweaty one at that...

...goin' to Kansas City...Kansas City here I come, they got some crazy lil' women there and I'm gonna get me one....

that's a song you guys should sing acoustic on your drive today...it's old but I can't remember who sings it. Love you!
