Well my sister has scolded me enough about not writting anything new lately so before I head to bed I will try to catch everyone up. We have since been to Denver, San Antonio and now we are in Houston. I DO NOT like the city of Houston, it's one big strip mall. Honestly that is all you see. San ANtonio was a very pretty city. I could take a trip back to San An. Our hotel... the Westin Riverwalk was, how shall i say, DIVINE!! The king size "heavenly" bed they have in their rooms was exactly that. It is hard enough for me to get out of bed anyway so add the most comfortable bed ever created.... well let's just say that it is surprising that I am not still in the bed in San Antonio. Our hotel was right next to The Alamo. I didn't have enough time to actually go look at but I did drive by it. The drive to San Antonio from Denver though was ridiculously long. For about 5 hours a group of us had an acousitcal sing-along in the back lounge of the bus. One of the guys plays guitar and can actually sing, the rest of us were just yelling the words. It was hysterical though. We were all delirous and pretty buzzed. (it just so happens that our bus is "the fun party bus" that everyone wants to be on. We at one point decided that we were going to get every movie that Patrick Swayze has made... Road House being our "theme" movie. If you ever watch Road House while drinking with friends and just want to get stupid drunk...(don't we all, just kidding mom) play this game. We thought it would be funny to play a casual drinking game while watching the movie so we decided that every time anyone says Dalton you have to drink. I don't think we realized how many times his name is said when we chose that game. It was like playing the worst game of 3 man. Let's just say that we had to turn the movie off.
Other than keeping ourselves occupied on the bus everything is going pretty good. It is a great job. I am thankful to have this opportunity.
Everyone probably thinks that I don't even work on this tour. Trust me I do. That is one good thing about this job, it is a lot of work but you do it mostly on your own time. The day of the event is pretty hectic and making sure that all is taken care of for the next event is the biggest thing with deadlines.
well, I have to get up at 5:00 so I am off to bed. I will try to keep things updated.

It's hot in Phoenix!
We are in Phoenix and it is HOT. Stupid hot. After a very long drive from a sleep over in Las Vegas we got into Phoenix at about 6:00. I survived my first visit to Las Vegas and even came out $250 up. Perfect. I was pretty excited about it. All on red at the Roulette table! It's amazing how expensive EVERYTHING is in Vegas. EVERYTHING!!!!! We stayed at the New York New York. Took a walk down to the Bellagio to gamble, made my first $100. Then we went down to Ceasar's Palace and hung out pool side and drank mojitos. YUMMY! We all had a crazy rest of the night in Vegas. I've got pictures to show you all soon....those are some doozies. I;m sure that part of the misery of my ride on the bus was due to a serious hang-over. Go figure! well, I am tired. I am off to bed. I'll write more tomorrow.

You can't have Work without the Play

Well, what's a job on the road it you don't have a little fun. Right? The girl in the picture with me is Claire. SHe is the one who hired me and I know from Paddy-o's. She's a wonderful person. The guy in the picture with me is Adam. He is our sound and audio producer. Everybody is alot of fun and we all seem to have the same sense of humor which makes it easy. ALso the beers certainly make it easier. Go figure!
Anyway... I miss you guys and will actually send some pictures of the actual job. I'll take some in Salt Lake. When we leave salt lake we make a night stop in VEGAS! WHoo hoo! The drive is too long to drive straight through so, oh no we have to stop over night. Boo Hoo.
I miss you all. By the way guys... i didn't know I sounded that depressed! GEEZUS!

Visit with Molly In Salt Lake City

I am in Salt Lake City. We got in yesterday afternoon after a very long drive from Portland. Portland was so pretty. The people seemed a little depressed and in bad moods but maybe it was just me. The or a Rose Parade was there one day. We all know how I feel about Parades...Let's just say I was glad to be in our hotel room not having to deal crowds. None of us were really sure what the Portland's Rose Parade is all about but it consisted mainly of Cowgirls and Cowboys riding on horseback with huge bouquets of Roses and Marching bands where the average age was 40. Very strange indeed.
Anyway. I was able to get in contact with Molly and spend the afternoon and have dinner with her, Sam and Sawyer. Who are SOOOO cute and so sweet. It was so good to see Molly. She looks AWESOME!!! I wish I could have taken more pictures but my camera died. Bummer. We are all getting a handle of some of the gliches of the Tour which enables us to have a little more free time. I'm really enjoying myself, learning alot about a new avenue of jobs and alot about myself. As co-workers we all seem to click pretty well and get along. You kinda have to when you spend long days on a cozy tour bus. It certainly is helping with my the minute I feel dirty I have to take a shower thing. When we do our events... we start at about 6 am work really hard all day and then get on the bus at about 1:30 with no shower.... All of us, all 12 of us sweaty and stinky. It's great. Needless to say I go into the bathroom the size of Barbie's bathtub and give myself a towel shower. I have to wash my feet and my face. Have to or i'll go crazy. It's crazy. Anywa.. here are a few pictures of Sam and Sawyer. I am so glad that I was able to spend some time with them. I wish I had more time and could have seen her house but now I just have to make a trip up there

This is from the same night. Will, is our production assistant (who does everything), scotty is the production outside to set up audio and everything else, and Brooke is with sponsorship. I actually know Brooke from St. Louis. It's nice to have a few familiar faces but everyone is really very cool people!
The Kid
Portland
I am in Portland Oregon getting the hang of this whole thing. I tried to send something when we were in Oakland but for some reason it didn't work. Our halftime entertainment is E40, I guess he is pretty big but I had never heard of him. Oakland is his home town so it was pretty crazy for that show. All the kids were having a blast and decied to rush the court. Half the arena wanted to have a dance party with E40. I missed all the action since I was busy away in my "office." Still having a good time. Since we are getting all the small details ironed out we are able to have more of a chance to spend some time in the cities we are staying at.Portland is really pretty but everyone seems to be in a bad mood. The Rose parade, or a Rose parade was going on in front of our hotel today. We all know how I feel about Parades so I am glad I was on the 9th floor watching from above. Waiting for my Ferris Bueler moment in the office but it never came. Anyway... I've got spread sheet to email and contact sheet to set up and ticket orders to finalize ( I sound so professional don't I) Email is the best way to get a hold of me since I am on the computer ALL the time! I hope all is well with you guys and life is good. I'll talk to you in Salt Lake City!

Los Angeles
I am in L.A. Our event is tomorrow and then we head off to Oakland. It has been pretty hectic, but fun. i am still feeling my way around. Once we do a few more events it will be a little easier. Aunt Laura and Tim, i am sorry that I was not able to get a hold of you but I haven't had much time. I am not sure what our route is.... but we won't be heading that way until around midnight. I don't know if you and Granny are night owls or not. ha ha. I wish I would have had more time. I took a bunch of pictures but haven't had time to really do anything with them. Once I figure it out I will post some.
Well... I am TIRED and I need to get up in 4 hours. I miss everyone! Talk to you soon.
