Well, I think this picture sums it all up as far as how much fun Dave and I seem to have together. I couldn't have picked a better brother-in-law, husband for my only sister..... wait a minute, I did pick him. That's right. I remember. Dancing and sleep overs. It's always been about the dancing! Right. Dave, what can I say, I am so thankful that you are in our lives. I am very happy for you and your new job. You'll always be my favorite..... don't tell Katie's other husbands. It's our secret. I love you Dave!

Off for the summer

Well, as most of you know I am taking a job with the ESPN's And1 Street Ball Tour. We are going to 25 different cities in 3 months.! Crazy. I leave Thursday morning to flyout to L.A. Most of the team flies out today but with the such short notice I was able to leave a little later which helped out with work and with getting my self ready to be gone for the summer.
My biggest issue is packing. It's hard enough for me to not over pack for an over night visit let alone trying to figure out and remember every thing for a 3 month trip. I'll probably end up packing everything but the kitchen sink. I mean really... how many pairs of shoes should I bring, what ratio of fun clothes to practical clothes do I take. What about jewelry... i can't take my jewelry dresser on the bus. It's more frustrating than trying to figure out my bills. That part is easy. The outfits, not so much.
I am really looking foward to this. I don't know what will come out of it other than just an incredible expiereince and if that is all it is then it's fine by me. But you never know and if I didn't take it I would regret it. I don't know if I will have my job back at Felix's when I get back and that is something I have to keep in the back of my mind. I will have lap top that I will be able to use so I will send pictures when I can. I am treating myself to a digital camera to take with me.
well.... I have got lots to do today. I thought I should put something new up.

Well. I have the next two days off from work. Good time to catch me at home fam.
ANyway.... I went to Donnie's little sister's baby shower the other day. Let me just say this now, Katie both you and I are in trouble when ever you get pregnant. There is WAY TOO much cute stuff out there for the little babies. I'm going to be broke and you are going to have 9,000 onesies and a couple hundred baby blankets. I had a very hard time not spending a couple hundred dollars on Donnie's sister. I am in big trouble when it becomes my sister. I already spoil my niece and nephew. What am I going to do with more? eeike.
I hear from mom that the Craig Clan is going to be heading up to North Carolina in June. I would love to crash that party. ( I don't know, but I think my sister is the only one who reads this. so you probably already know all that)
Today I am going to go to Target (bad idea), the mall (really bad idea) and Lowe's for plants for the patio. When I come back my wallet will be EMPTY!!!! but think of all the cool things i'll have. There is also the never ending saga of dish washing, laundry and general pick up. But it's a gloomy cloudy day so it's perfect cleaning weather. That is about it. Rainy Wednesday

Not much to report today. It is raining very hard today. Donnie left to go do a beer run for Paddy-O's. Not the greatest of weather reports for that. He spent the last couple of days laying a stone slab patio out back. It looks awesome! We are going to paint the little shed out back and we put up a fence around the patio. It's going to be a very cool chill place to hang out. I am doing spring cleaning and taking a little break. I guess I should get back to the grind.
